The successful candidate will be based in Taipei and will report directly to the VP of Global Tax. This role will oversee tax compliance in Taiwan while collaborating closely with both global and regional stakeholders to support strategic tax initiatives in Taiwan. What You Will Do Taiwan Tax Compliance & Reporting • Oversee corporate income tax filings, VAT, withholding tax, and other local tax obligations. • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of tax returns and disclosures. • Proactively identify and evaluate tax-saving opportunities in Taiwan. • Manage relationships with local tax authorities and support audits or inquiries. Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Taxation, Finance, or Law; CPA or equivalent preferred. 12+ years of experience in Taiwan tax, ideally with exposure to international tax matters. Strong understanding of Taiwan tax laws, transfer pricing, and cross-border tax principles. Experience in a multinational corporation and/or Big 4 firm preferred. Excellent communication skills in Mandarin and English (fluency in Korean is a plus). You will own the full planning cycle, making sure our infrastructure, labor, and inventory stay in sync to meet customer demand. You will act as the network gatekeeper, ensuring we scale up without hitting capacity limits. Your main goal is to project daily, weekly, and monthly volumes and match them with designed capacity, while automating manual tasks to streamline our workflows. What You Will Do Volume & capacity planning: manage daily volume projections and inbound/outbound capacity planning to ensure the network remains fluid and performance targets are met. Network gatekeeping: Monitor network layer rules and case mapping to optimize flow and prevent bottlenecks. Peak season strategy: Lead the planning and execution of inventory build-up strategies for peak events, balancing storage capacity with outbound throughput Capacity safeguarding: Monitor network health in real-time; identify potential breaches in capacity and proactively deploy mitigation strategies with cross-functional partner Process optimization: Identify bottlenecks in current planning cycles; automate manual data workflows and continuously streamline S&OP processes to move at the speed of the business. Stakeholder management: Act as the central point between Instock, Ops, Labor Planning, and Finance to align on a single version of the truth for demand and supply planning Basic Qualifications Experience with Excel, statistical modeling, and optimization. Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes, including demand planning, inventory management, logistics, and distribution. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building relationships with internal teams and external partners. Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a customer-centric mindset. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred. Extensive experience in supply chain management, operations, forecasting, and capacity management. Experience in data processing and analysis, with the ability to draw conclusion from data and build basic models to support business decision-making.
