Use NavisWorks 3D models to examine equipment layouts and routing paths, evaluating functionality, maintainability, and constructability. Work closely with O&M personnel to review equipment submittals and coordinate with more experienced colleagues and managers to address complex issues. Review and verify construction RFI responses and perform on-site quality management. Develop team leadership and training capabilities; may lead or train other team members. Support commissioning and start-up phases to ensure systems meet standards and guidelines. Input system data into capacity planning software to assist with future operational planning. Incorporate lessons learned from other sites into build improvements. Transition to facility system maintenance and operations after project completion, assisting with routine mechanical facility inspections, maintenance, major equipment troubleshooting, and repairs. Support equipment upgrades, energy-saving initiatives, system optimization, and regulatory audits. Prepare and manage O&M SOPs, inspection checklists, and technical documentation. Assist with budgeting, equipment procurement, and vendor management. Make decisions that may impact team results or small project quality. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent work experience. Strong analytical and decision-making skills. Strong interpersonal and communication abilities; capable of routinely sharing technical resources with colleagues and supervisors.
