Supply Planning Specialist (1) Supply Planning Specialist Taoyuan, Taiwan Full-time (100%) Mid senior level Role Summary The Senior Specialist plays a critical role in connecting customers with internal supply chain, production, planning, and quality teams. This role partners closely with the Value Chain Manager (VCM) to understand customer needs, coordinate internal resources, and ensure smooth, timely, and compliant fulfillment of customer demand. The position requires strong communication, problem‑solving, and operational planning capabilities within a regulated medical device environment. Key Responsibilities 🔹 Customer Communication & Demand Coordination Serve as the primary operational contact for assigned customers to understand daily requirements, inquiries, and escalations. Communicate customer demand, delivery expectations, and changes to relevant internal teams (planning, supply chain, logistics, production, QA). Work closely with the Value Chain Manager to translate customer requirements into internal actions and ensure alignment with supply capability. Provide proactive updates on supply status, delivery risks, and mitigation plans to customers and internal stakeholders. Support customer-specific workflow improvements to enhance service levels and operational effectiveness. 🔹 Cross‑Functional Collaboration Collaborate with Value Chain Manager, Procurement, Logistics, and Manufacturing to evaluate capacity, material availability, and delivery feasibility. Facilitate internal alignment meetings to resolve demand/supply gaps, product constraints, and customer-impacting issues. Support Value Chain Manager in S&OP‑related activities by consolidating demand insights and ensuring data accuracy. 🔹 Supply & Capacity Coordination Monitor supply plans and production schedules to ensure they align with customer expectations. Identify and flag capacity constraints (e.g., tooling, assembly line capacity) and participate in solution planning. Track tool warranty status and ensure the relevant internal teams are informed of risks impacting supply continuity. Maintain accurate data in demand/supply planning systems to support S&OP and long-term forecasting exercises. 🔹 Operational Support & Delivery Coordination Coordinate delivery schedules and ensure customers receive accurate and timely shipment information. Mandatory Skills 🔹 Hard Skills Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred, especially SD or planning‑related modules). High proficiency in Excel, reporting dashboards/tools, and CRM/customer platforms. Knowledge of trade compliance, Incoterms, and export/shipping documentation. Familiarity with S&OP processes, including demand planning, supply planning, and capacity alignment. 🔹 Soft Skills Strong communication skills—able to communicate clearly with customers and internal cross‑functional teams. High attention to detail with strong data accuracy. Problem‑solving mindset; able to manage exceptions and propose workable solutions. Ability to prioritize and work under pressure in a regulated environment. Collaborative working style, with the ability to influence and coordinate across multiple functions. Experience & Education Bachelor’s degree (Business, Supply Chain, Life Sciences preferred). 5 years above of experience in customer service, supply chain, or value chain/operations roles.
