Position Summary, Responsibilities and Expectations: Review, verify and place purchase orders requested from planning requisitions Maintain Oracle system data integrity through accurate data entry of purchase orders and subsequent updates Review and follow up daily on past due purchase orders, process planning PO expedite requests and report status to management Generate and submit required daily report of purchased items information Resolve receiving discrepancies and process RTV transactions Collect supplier pricing and create comparison charts for management review and approval Manages Supplier forecasts and lead-times changes and communicate with planning department to ensure accurate delivery schedules Procures materials, expense items, equipment and services within the provisions of applicable Government laws and regulations and Company Policy Ensures all procurement activities comply with the Company's Code of Ethics & Business Conduct Guidelines Purchasing Policies & Procedures, and legal & ethical business practices Essential Skills and Experience: 2+ Years purchasing experience, handling computer components in high volume preferred Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience Proficiency in MS Office Oracle ERP experience preferred
Position Summary, Responsibilities and Expectations: • Design, extend and support Oracle Application. Apply knowledge of business/functional requirements and systems technology to effectively develop solutions and support Oracle applications across the enterprise. Identify gaps, design, and deploy process and technology solutions to support the operational requirements and/or strategic initiatives. Develop technical specifications, assist with configuration of applications, develop extensions, integrations, reports and workflows. • Translate business/functional requirements into technology solutions. Clearly define and communicate targeted technical solutions via technical design specifications. Lead iterative solution design and prototyping efforts. Create system and end-user documentation to support new system implementation, incident management and enhancement implementation. Transfer knowledge to other team members as required. • Develop and test software components which are part of the Oracle E-Business Suite and other custom systems. • Effectively present technical concepts and issues to both technical and functional team members. • Work closely with peers and user groups to ensure on-time execution of all deliverables. • Provide day-to-day production support and off hours support as required. • Work is performed independently with minimal direction. • Conduct software evaluations, provide technical analysis and implement systems to meet the company’s IS goals • Coordinate all aspects of information systems projects, planning, design, implementation, and management. • Knowledge of data warehouse is a plus. Essential Skills and Experience: • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems • 3+ years experience of implementing Oracle Supply Chain modules and developing applications using moderately complex PL/SQL procedures and packages • Understanding of Oracle AIMS methodology and conversant with BR100, MD50, MD70 and test script document preparation and review. Knowledge of UPK application is highly preferred. • Understanding and experience working with Oracle EBS open interfaces/APIs • Oracle Applications eBusiness Suite 12.1.3 (EBS) including Oracle Workflow, Oracle Forms, Reports, PL/SQL, XML/BI Publisher, Oracle Application Framework, JDeveloper with OA extension, Oracle Data Integrator. • Must be self-motivated, have a strong team orientation, and be able to learn quickly • Project Management and good organization skills • Strong knowledge of Oracle tools (TOAD, SQLPlus)
